Classical Hatha Yoga

I teach classical Hatha yoga in the lineage of Krishnamacharya who is usually referred to as “The Father of Modern Yoga’.I also apply the principles of Physiotherapy in my practice and teaching. I believe that Yoga has a deeper connection with Anatomy, Physiology, Neuroanatomy & Kinesiology which is more profound and holistic when applying in the field of therapeutic treatment and for overall health and wellbeing. I consider Yoga as a branch of science, albeit sometimes neglected or misapprehended.

Yoga also teaches several breathing techniques to help the mind focus and calm the nervous system. On the other hand can also energise the mind and body.

As a fitness professional myself, I apply Yoga to all core training exercises which plays a major role in our posture and body mechanics in movement and in lifting weights.

My aim in teaching yoga is to introduce healing and functional in any activities of daily life without pain. To teach awareness of the breath and subtle energies to achieve balance in both mind and the body, and being able to effectively manage stress both mentally and physically. And to incorporate awareness in good posture and proper body mechanics which can help prevent future injuries in sports or any activities.
